Centering Our Purpose

As we turn the final page of the calendar year, December offers a natural moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate the remarkable people who make Eventus Education a thriving, mission-driven organization. In early childhood education, every month carries its own rhythm, but December brings a special blend of gratitude, momentum, and clarity about who we are and where we’re going.

This month, our teams across all campuses have continued the meaningful work of creating safe, joyful, developmentally rich environments for children and families. In a season often defined by distractions, our educators have doubled down on the core experiences that matter most: hands-on learning, warm relationships, intentional routines, and daily opportunities for children to wonder, explore, and grow. Their commitment is a reminder that early education does not pause for holidays—it is shaped each day by purposeful interactions and the skilled professionals who support them.

December has also been a time of strengthening our organizational foundations. We will host the first meeting of our new Staff Senate, an important step toward deepening collaboration, transparency, and shared decision-making across Eventus Education. This group will serve as a vital internal voice—helping us understand staff needs, surface opportunities for improvement, and celebrate bright spots. Their leadership will play a meaningful role as we continue to grow and refine our systems.

Operationally, our teams have shown exceptional focus. Directors and central office staff have been actively engaged in preparing for the new year—finalizing compliance plans, refining classroom practices, and strengthening cleaning and sanitation routines as we enter peak cold and flu season. Our commitment to clean, healthy, well-maintained schools is central to the trust families place in us, and I’m encouraged by the pride our teams take in maintaining those environments.

We’ve also continued advancing our long-term vision. December included branding workshops with Better Beans to ensure our facilities across states share a unified, recognizable identity that reflects the quality of our programs. This work—paired with our ongoing systems development and accreditation prep—helps position Eventus Education not just as a growing network, but as a consistent, high-quality model for early childhood excellence.

Of course, December is also a season for gratitude. I am incredibly thankful for the dedication our educators, directors, and support teams bring to their roles every day. Your work is not easy, but it is profoundly meaningful. You make Eventus a place where children are known, loved, and challenged; where families find support; and where colleagues find purpose. You bring life to our mission.

As we look to January, we are energized by the potential ahead. We will continue refining our systems, elevating our training and development, and expanding opportunities for collaboration and growth. Most importantly, we’ll remain focused on delivering exceptional early childhood experiences grounded in care, consistency, and connection.

Thank you for an extraordinary year. We are proud of what we have built—and excited for what we will continue building together.
